Cable fireproof coating is a new type of fire retardant coating developed by our company according to GB28374-2012 standard. The product is composed of Shupropyl lotion water-based materials added with various fire retardant and plasticizer, which is currently more advanced globally.

Special water-based fire-resistant coating for wires and cables. When the coating of this product is exposed to fire, it can generate a uniform and dense layer of heat on the Mu Mian recognition pool wood, which can effectively suppress and block the spread of flames, and provide protection for wires and cables. his

The main advantages are: environmental protection, pollution-free, non-toxic and odorless, and no threat to the health of the coating personnel. This product also has the characteristics of thin coat- ing, strong adhesion, good flexibility, and good insulation and anti-corrosion functions.

Scope of use

This product is widely used for flame retardant treatment of wires and cables in power plants, industrial and mining areas, telecommunications, and civil buildings. It can also be used for fire protection of combustible substrates in wooden structures, metal structures, and underground engineering.

    Salt corrosion resistance: After soaking for 7 days, the coating will not wrinkle, peel off, or bubble, and will basically recover within 24 hours under standard environmental conditions, with slight loss of gloss allowed.
    Moisture and heat resistance: After 7 days of testing, the coating has no peeling or detachment, and slight loss of gloss
    is allowed.

    Freeze thaw cycle resistance: After 15 cycles, the coating has no bubbles or peeling, and less than 2 cracks are allowed to appear.
    Bending resistance: The coating does not delaminate or peel off, and it
    is allowed to have less than 8 cracks. Fire resistance: carbonization height ≤ 2.5m 

 

Installation instructions

  1. Before applying fireproof coating, the floating dust, oil stains, and debris on the surface of the cable should be cleaned and polished clean. The fireproof coating can only be applied after the surface is dry.
  2. This product is applied by spraying, brushing and other methods. When using, it should be thoroughly stirred and evenly mixed. If the coating is slightly thick, it can be diluted with an appropriate amount of tap water for easy spraying.
  3. During the construction process and before the coating dries, waterproofing, sun protection, pollution prevention, movement prevention, and bending prevention should be carried out. If there is any damage, it should be repaired in a timely manner
  4. For wires and cables with plastic or rubber outer skin, they are generally directly coated for more than 5 times, with a coating thickness of 0.5 – 1 mm and a dosage of approximately 1.5kg/m2 For insulated cables with oil paper packaging, a layer of glass fiber cloth should be wrapped first before coating. If construction is carried out outdoors or in a humid environment, a matching surface varnish should be added.
