The fire-resistant module completely solves the characteristics of fire-resistant pillows and fire-resistant bags, such as lack of moisture resistance, corrosion resistance, fear of rodent bites, easy collapse during stacking, and short shelf life. The overall product is composed of multiple organic substances, and the flame retardant module expands when exposed to fire, releasing non-toxic and harmless gases that are environmentally friendly, pollution-free, and halogen-free.

Scope of use

Suitable for fireproof sealing of single or multiple pipelines, temporary or permanent sealing of cable bundles and cable trays, temporary or permanent sealing of flammable pipelines, and temporary or permanent sealing of metal pipelines with or without insulation layers.

Installation instructions

  • 1. Clean the opening
    2. If used for openings without crossing objects (temporary fireproof sealing), the long
    side of the fireproof module should be flush with the substrate and constructed flat and
    stable inside the opening.
    3. If used for openings with penetrations, the flame retardant module can be cut with a
    knife to fit the size of the penetrations.
    4. Align the long side of the fire-resistant module with the substrate and build it flat
    and stable inside the opening.
    5. Seal the cable gap and the gap between the fire-resistant module and the cable with
    expansion sealant.
    6. If necessary, install identification stickers in a prominent position next to the fireproof
    sealing area as identification
    marks for later maintenance.

Installation for traversing again:

  • 1. Remove or cut off the fire-resistant module in the modified area.
    2. Install penetrations, rebuild fire-resistant modules, and seal them with expansion type
    fire-resistant sealant or flexible organic plugs.
    3. When crossing a single cable again, it can be directly passed through the joint between
    the fire-resistant modules, or a slightly smaller diameter hole can be drilled through the
    fire-resistant module with a sharp metal tube or hose, and sealed with an expansion type
    sealant.
