Product Introduction

Expanded fireproof sealant is a type of flame-retardant and expandable fireproof sealant, characterized by good flame retardancy and a volume expansion of more than 5 times when exposed to fire, which can effectively prevent flame and heat transfer. The product is a water-based fire sealant that is resistant to nuclear radiation, LOC, and cleaning agents. It has a long-term performance of over 40 years and does not contain toxic components such as halogens and sulfur. It is water tight, smoke tight, non corrosive, safe and environmentally friendly, efficient and flame retardant, and easy to apply

  • Construction method

    1. Clean the opening and prepare to apply expanded fireproof sealant
    The surface should be cleaned of scattered debris, dust, oil stains, frost, and wax, and
    kept dry.
    2. According to the testing report requirements of relevant standards
    fill the backing material (such as mineral wool) to the minimum thickness
    requirement and leave enough thickness for the application of expansion fireproof
    sealant to obtain the corresponding fire resistance time
    3. Application of fireproof sealant
    In order to achieve the desired fireproof effect, please apply the specified thickness to
    ensure that the expanded fireproof sealant contacts the surface of the pipe substrate
    for maximum adhesion.
