Product Introduction

Gap sealing material is an environmentally friendly single component fireproof sealing material, which can be brushed with sealing paint to quickly and effectively seal difficult to enter gaps. The construction is fast and simple, the surface is brushed, water-based, and the overflow area is easy to clean. It has strong bonding performance and is suitable for the joints between curtain walls and floor edges as well as gaps with high elongation. It does not contain halogens and asbestos, has good smoke and water tightness, excellent elastic deformation ability, and will not dry or crack during use. When a fire occurs, it expands due to heat and quickly and effectively seals the gaps left by the combustion of combustibles in the fire. The maximum fire resistance time can reach 3 hours

Matters needing attention

When using fire-resistant gap sealing materials for sealing, please select the corresponding test report according to relevant testing standards and choose different dosages based on different fire resistance times.

Installation instructions

  • Clean the opening The surface prepared for spraying fireproof gap sealing material should be cleaned of scattered debris, dust, oil stains, moisture, and wax.
  • Insert mineral wool According to the test report, insert a backing material of sufficient thickness (such as mineral wool).
  • Spraying of fireproof gap sealing materials Apply fireproof gap sealing material to the required thickness Meet the corresponding fire protection time limit and confirm that the fireproof gap sealing material is applied to the entire backing surface and 12.5mm around it.
  • Curing of fireproof gap sealing materials At 23 C a thickness of 3mm requires 5-7 days to fully cure. If necessary for maintenance, an identification plate can be installed next to the joint
