Product Introduction

Inorganic blocking material (fireproof plaster) is a new product developed by our company according to the GB23864-2023 standard. This product is made by mixing inorganic materials with chemical additives, in powder form, and has the characteristics of high strength, water resistance, corrosion resistance, odorless, and easy construction. It is a high-end fireproof material with a maximum fire resistance time of 4 hours.

Scope of use

Inorganic blocking material (fireproof plaster) is suitable for fireproof sealing of cable through holes, openings, air ducts, and metal pipelines in industries such as power, metallurgy, chemical, and construction.

Installation instructions

  • 1. Clean the cables and cable trays around the opening and the parts that need to be
sealed until there is no dust or grease, and then wet the surface of the above parts
    with water.
    2. Mix and stir the inorganic blocking material. First, put 1 part of water into the
container, then add 3 parts of dry powder inorganic blocking material. Stir thoroughly
to form a uniform and viscous mortar, and be careful not to add any other substances.
    3. Support the formwork and fill the mortar around the cables and cable trays, and
compact the cables in the mortar to prevent gaps between the cables. Expansion type
fireproof sealant can be used in conjunction with inorganic blocking materials to be
applied around and between the cables.
    4. (Optional) Add inorganic fire-resistant bricks to the location where the cable needs
to be replaced for secondary crossing.
    5. If necessary, identification stickers can be installed in a prominent position next to
the sealed area as identification marks for later maintenance.
